Despite many treatment modalities clinicians remain frustrated by slow healing and increasing treatment costs.

Some 2 million, or 1 in 190, of our fellow European citizens currently suffer from chronic wounds such as venous and pressure-induced leg ulcers and diabetic lesions. With an aging population this number is expected to increase dramatically.....
