Natrox™ (a derivative of the phrase Natural Oxygen) is specifically designed to deliver pure humidified oxygen to the wound bed while providing full mobility to the patient.

Natrox™
Is the size and weight (107g) of a mobile phone and is supplied with two rechargeable battery packs. One will be in use while the other is on charge. A small green alert gently flashes to let you know that oxygen is being produced. All items have been designed to be worn where it is most comfortable and battery packs designed to be easy to change even for patients with limited faculties including poor eyesight and grip strength.

The need for Oxygen therapy

IODP
The Island Oxygen Delivery Pad system has been specifically developed to aid even distribution of the humidified oxygen over the surface of the wound bed. The IODP consists of two main components.

  1. A thin flexible tube, approximately 1 metre long, which delivers humidified oxygen from the NATROX™ directly to the wound bed. An extension piece is also available should extra run be required (for example to the foot) for best positioning.
  2. A standard occlusive absorbent foam dressing to allow O2 concentrations to build up within the IODP. This has a standard adhesive outer strip to both locate the dressing and to provide an adequate skin seal. We have worked with a major dressing manufacturer to use the latest hypoallergenic adhesives, to ensure that both an adequate seal is obtained without damaging surrounding skin and that this is easy and painless to remove.

IODPs come in packs of 10 and are sterile until opened.
